Tame Impala are a new (?) psych group from Perth, Australia. And they’re fantastic. Pitchfork is going crazy for this one, and it’s sure to be Best New Music when it is released. They’re touring with MGMT and they’re very compatible with the new MGMT sound (psychedelic rock, as opposed to the old neon-Animal Collective-pop sound) but a bit more driving and straightforward.

Right now, though, it’s perfect music for a sunny spring day. Get into it!
